Doulagivers Specialist Services: (1) Certified End of Life Doula, (2) Doulagivers Care Consultant, and (3) Doulagivers Eldercare Doula

What is a Doulagivers Specialist?

A Doulagivers Specialist has taken, completed, and certified in the Doulagivers Certified Training Programs.

This means that in addition to taking the Doulagivers Certified End-of-Life Doula Training Program, you have also received certification as a Doulagivers Care Consultant and a Doulagivers Eldercare Doula.  As a Doulagiver Specialist, I can work with healthy people doing advance care planning and serve your elderly and end-of-life patients as they need your services.

End-of-life doula care is stressful for families, especially since at this time in our society, families are in crisis as the end of life is not adequately planned for and is the leading fear among individuals. Being a Care Consultant Certification and an Eldercare Doula allows me to work with those who are not in the late stages of a stressful situation. allowing for a continuum of care for patient and families.

A Doulagivers® Specialist can plan and coordinate the care of the elderly to improve their quality of life on a daily basis and to maintain their independence.

The Doulagivers® Specialist also establishes a trusted relationship to be able to be present and support both the patient and family during the End-of-Life process.

By working with seniors, helping them plan their wishes, and being a trusted companion for them as they reach the End of Life, the Doulagivers® Specialist is able to care for the elderly, help with all end-of-life paperwork and plans, and be there to care for the client as an End-of-Life Doula. I will provide ongoing support to both the patient and their families at the time and throughout the end-of-life process.

The Doulagivers Specialist is the highest level of world-class online end-of-life training and progressive education for those who have chosen a career in holistic end of life care and planning.

*Meet people "where they are" on their journey

What Doulagiver Specialists Don't Do:

As a Doulagivers Specialist, I will provide ongoing support to both the patient and their families at the time of and throughout the end-of-life process.

Due to the reality of the modern family structure and our increasingly challenged medical system, we need additional options to support and care for the precious, aging population.

What is an End-of-Life Doula?

End of Life Doula

WHAT IS AN END-OF-LIFE DOULA?

Just like a birth doula helping to bring life into this world, an End-of-Life Doula is a non-medical professional trained to provide holistic (emotional, physical, spiritual,) and informational support to a patient and family before, during, and after death. Since they are trained in the various end-of-life stages, a doula can assist families with understanding the natural processes while providing comfort and support.

We recognize that dying is part of the normal process of living and focus on the quality of life for patients and their family caregivers. End of Life doulas work in conjunction with your hospice medical team providing an additional support system to patients and families with no time limitation or time restrictions. We act as the eyes and ears of the hospice team.

End-of-life doulas can:

*Help create positive, empowering end-of-life plans,
*Provide spiritual care, psychological, and social support.

*Suggest ideas for optimal physical comfort.

*Help plan home vigils; and

*Educate patients and families on the new and progressive options of home wakes and natural burials

What is a Doulagivers Elder Care Doula?

Aging is a difficult, but integral part of our life. having people to count on and care for your loved ones brings not only great quality of life to the patients but also incredible peace of mind to those who love them.

As an Elder Care Doula, I am specifically trained to provide holistic (physical, emotional, and spiritual) care for the elderly. An Elder Care Doula cares for aging seniors by simply being a companion through the aging process.

Due to the reality of the modern family structure and the increasingly challenging medical system, we need additional options to support and care for our precious aging population.
